We are excited to have Dani Rosenberg and Rebecca More from Confetti On The Dancefloor back for episode seven of our Confetti Five To THRIVE series.

The new dance season is right around the corner which means one thing – it’s time to make sure that your enrollment strategy is where it needs to be for the. You’ve created your schedule for the new year and hopefully your registration is underway, so today’s episode is all about sharing our Top 5 tips to pump up your Fall enrollment that you can plug in today!

Tip #1 – Nail Your Offer.

Consider offering several free promo classes throughout the summer, primarily as you get closer to the new year starting. Your hosts, Becca and Dani have been doing this successfully for many years and the reason is simple – everybody loves to try before they buy. Offering these free classes can attract new students and also expose your existing students to new styles.

Tip #2 – Change Things Up.

Anytime you make a change or add something new to your normal studio life, people are definitely going to notice. Yes, change can be a little bit scary, but it can also be really rewarding as well. You don’t necessarily need to make a huge change to what you’re doing, but something simple can go a really long way. For example, consider changing your class names or introducing a combination class.

Tip #3 – Level Up Your Social Media Strategy

Your Social Media presence is always important, but at this time of year it is really important to bring your A-Game. Facebook and Instagram are the primary way that new students and parents can find you, so you want to make sure that you’re ready for that. Your potential customers want to see that you’re up to date, and that your feed aligns with what they are interested in. It’s a really important time of year to show all the elements and aspects of your studio from the tiny-tots all the way up to your adult and competitive programs.

Tip #4 – Reach Out

As the summer starts coming to an end, start taking note of who’s registered and who has not registered for the new year. Now is the perfect time to personally reach out to your past students – this can be the students from last year or even two or three years. For some, they simply may not have interested dancing again. But for many they’ve been traveling all Summer, or their focus just hasn’t been on dance. It’s not that they don’t want to dance again, they just haven’t had the time to register or maybe forgot how quickly classes fill and how important it is to register. Reaching out personally is huge in your re-enrollment strategy, and if there is something holding those dancers back this is the perfect time to fix it.

Tip #5 – Continue Your Education

Do something for you to further your education by attending a conference. There’s a ton of options and these days that can be found all over, so pick one that works for you. Go and be surrounded by like-minded studio owners to get inspired!
