It’s about time we revisited one of Clint’s favourite topics during the Transform My Dance Studio podcast – Preschool Dance Programs of course!

It’s no secret that the demand for great dance classes for the 2-6yrs age group isn’t going anywhere but up, which is why it’s a no-brainer that any dance studio with a vision to grow and thrive will also need plans in place to become the ‘go-to’ studio for preschool aged boys and girls.  The main reason for this is simple (and no, it’s not because they are just so darn cute)

With the right marketing, planning and class structure in place, the $10 you make each week from a single preschool student can easily amount to thousands in the years to come. By growing and keeping your numbers from this young age you are setting your studio up for greater growth and retention in the long run.

Not only this, but the rewards are beyond financial. Being involved in the social and creative development of your youngest students as you introduce them to the endless possibilities of dance is pure magic, and few people know this better than today’s guest – founder of ‘Tutu School’, Genevieve Custer-Weeks.

Genevieve was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin and took part in her first dance productions in the middle of her parents’ living room.

Fast-forward to 2006 where Genevieve – in the midst of a professional ballet career – decided to open her own boutique school where she could celebrate and nurture everything that she loved most about ballet. Today, ‘Tutu School’ franchises specialise in creating storybook adventures in ballet for boys and girls aged 18months to 8 years.

In This Podcast
